So every year I never do anything for my birthday. I always stay mellow and just chill with the fam. Not this year!!!! This year I treated my self to a month long celebration. first I flew to Hawaii and hung out with the homies, ate good food, bought kicks, tattooed and most importantly made some new friends. I always have and good time here Thanks to My Homie Lucky. Who by the way just open up his own Private studio in china town. So if you guys make it out there hit em up. Next I flew back to San Jo tattooed for 4 days and then jumped back on a plane to Jackson Hole Wyoming for some back country snowboarding!!!! Hella scary! enjoy the pics fam!

I had a good time on the rock and I'm back and ready to work. Sometimes in this business its necessary to take a break no matter whats going on. This year has been rough for a lot of us. Luckily for me i got good friends in beautiful places. Its time I take to clear my head, recharge my batteries and get inspired. Not the best way to travel around europe But never the less its being done. I had a great time at the Conthey tattoo convention. The people were great and I was as busy as i wanted to be. I will most definitly be back next year. It took me way to long to finally make it over the pond to europe. I have no idea what I was waiting for this place is the shit. Good people, great food, tons of history, art, clean and heathy way of living. Being out of the states in another country kind of puts things in perspective. This is the hospital University of Maryland, the first shock-trauma center in the country. This hospital was built on a Baltimore city block. They use old buildings to link the ward together. Niceset beautiful hospital I've ever seen!

Just a quick note of thanks to everyone for being understanding. My girl's family is going through a hard time, her brother is fighting for his life in the ICU on the east coast, so I hopped a flight to go help out in any way I could. I am sorry to everyone who's apt had to be pushed back, but this was something I couldn't have planned for. I will be back in town on 3/29/10, ready to work.

This past weekend I was lucky enough to spend my day off at Hakone gardens with my Hawaii homies. More often then not we as artists get so stuck in our studios, tattoo shops and schedules without coming up for air. So on our days off it feels good to take advantage of the down time before starting the week all over again. It doesnt have to be a big deal. Here's the finished product on Pete's sleeve. We started this in the summer. Pete was one of those customers who said I want this this and that"do your thing". Artistic freedom really goes a long way. When I get a chance to have the artistic handcuffs removed I really get excited. I think it really shows in this piece and at no point did I lose interest in this project. I gotta give it to him he was really motivated to get this thing done. Pete made it in to my chair 3 times in the last 2 weeks to knock this thing out before he and his new family moves back north. Thanks Pete and good luck with the new family and career!

My homie Kenny stopped by to get his second session knocked. We handled all the black and grey. Its super easy to get tattooed when your skin is used to getting smashed on by paint balls. Kenny is a professional paint"baller" and has some bullet hole lookin scars to prove it. Keep an eye for for him next season on ESPN and keep and eye out for his tattoo up dates. Later gators!
